Take Time to Plan for Spontaneousness.

I've never been part of a huge elaborate plan that has worked out even close to what we had hoped at the time. It's always when I set out with no preconceived notions of what the day is going to be like that the best things seem to happen. This Friday I got invited to hang out with some other film photographers in the area. We had a loose plan of going to an abandoned dog racing track outside of Peoria and take pictures. Other than that it was all up in the air. We passed a less than welcoming circus on the way and missed the first show. So we decided on the way back to go to the circus and see what it's all about. It was pretty weird, but it's the memories that matter in the end. Overall I night I probably won't forget. I met some super cool, Jesus and film loving people that night.
