I was given the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Santo Domingo, Ecuador with a few people I worked with at the summer camp I was at. We worked with a church in one of the barrios as well as worked on a farm being set up by a few missionaries to provide housing and jobs for people of the local church.
This trip was certainly interesting, and the pictures mean more to me for one specific, and unfortunate reason.
While on this trip, my Leica apparently had shutter curtain problems due to film getting stuck on the 2nd day. I was able to get the film out, and I thought that solved the problem, but only about 30 of the 300 pictures I took on 35mm film while on this trip turned out. So what I do have in picture form means even more now. I hope you enjoy!
