My family's California plans fell through when my sister got the stomach flu, so my dad, brother and I decided to drive about 20 minutes down to Old Town Glendale, Arizona. You have to drive through a pretty bad neighborhood but then all of a sudden you reach this beautiful neighborhood full of old houses and cool antique stores.
On the way back home I still had some film left over, and I wanted to be able to see my pictures as soon as possible so I had to finish the roll! And this old building really caught my eye so instinctively I had to stop. It turns out this factory first opened in the early 1900's and was a beet sugar factory and even made Orange Crush for a while. Pretty cool. I couldn't go in unfortunately, due to the fence, barb wire, two sets of razor wire and the possible security guard in the security office with the door cracked. It was a very interesting place though. Tons of old cars including an old hot rod hurst that I couldn't get close enough too get a good picture of. But overall it was well worth the stop.
